Howdy,

My name is Clint Glaesmann, but over the past few years, I have become a man of many names. To my students I am known as either Coach G, Mr. G, or for those more daring, the Glaesmann Nation. I have completed two years of teaching at Midway High School, and I am looking forward the challenges and rewards my third year has lying in store for me. If you had asked me five years ago whether or not I wanted to be a teacher, I would have told you that it was the last thing that I planned on becoming, but I am glad that life has a funny way of turning our plans upside down, because becoming a teacher has been the single best decision I have ever made. I absolutely love it!

I am proud to announce that I am currently finishing up my last three hours at Texas A&M University and will be graduating on August 16th with a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am an Aggie through and through, and I will never be able to fully explain how grateful I am for Texas A&M and the vast impact it has had on my life. I will forever bleed maroon!

For those of you who would like to know a little bit more about me, I love to be active. On any given day, you can find me either running through my neighborhood or doing something active at the Family Y. I have started to try my hand at guitar, emphasis on the “try,” and am really enjoying it. I am also an avid reader, and would honestly love to find a job one day that paid me to simply read and enjoy books. I’m not sure if such a job exists, but I will keep that dream alive. Finally, and my students can vouch for me on this, I enjoy having fun. I love making the most of every moment, and I truly believe that life is what you make of it. I try and apply that philosophy to every aspect of my life as best as possible.

I am truly looking forward to this upcoming season! I believe that the current Blue Crew and Panther Patrol group is the best one that Midway has ever had, and I can’t wait to see how they perform on Friday nights!

Mr. Glaesmann
